February 14th A DAY FOR HEARTS, a concerted global effort is being made to heighten awareness of this deadly group of diseases...offering information, resources and support to those whose lives have been touched by Congenital Heart Defects. Join us in helping to bring awareness and funding to CHD research.

The Heart Center at U of MI offers state of the art diagnostic and treatment facilities. As an international referral center for children with complex congenital heart problems, approximately 850 heart operations are performed here each year. 

A Walk to Remember & Tree Memorial  
Annual event taking place in October in Ann Arbor Michigan to lessen the isolation so often felt by parents who have lost a child. The event is brings families together who bring so much love and honor to their child’s memory.  “We walk for the steps they will never take.”

Ronald McDonald House Charities

We recently purchased over 100 books called “The Angel with the Golden Glow” I have sent almost 20 out other families who have lost a child & the rest we are donating to U of MI hospital. What a sweet children’s book that we even find comforting to read. A heart family we know from email (littlehearts.org) sent it to us (thank you again Lois). It is just one of the many things we will do in the future in Severin’s memory. We will always be advocates of CHD awareness/research the #1 birth defect of babies!  - Amy Brenny

2 Hearts is a wonderful website by David McFarland, a heart transplant patient who brings encouragement & prayers to all who face the trauma of heart transplant or any other major heart illness. We thank David for his continued prayers and support for our family. God Bless you David!

C.H.I.N. is an international organization that provides reliable information, support services and resources to families of children with congenital heart defects and acquired heart disease, adults with congenital heart defects, and the professionals who work with them.

“Circle of Hearts” is an online fundraising and awareness campaign designed to educate friends and family about Congenital Heart Defects, and raise money to support the programs and services provided by The Congenital Heart Information Network.
 

A diagnosis of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome HLHS can be frightening and overwhelming. It is important to know that are there are options for babies with HLHS.
